How to pick out the proper softball equipment for your player.

Every year we get some of the same questions about equipment. This page will help you choose what's best for your player's needs.

UNIFORMS & GEAR - What you will need to purchase for your player:

Team Jersey*
Softball Socks*
Softball Belt*
Softball pants (black)
Cleats
Batting Helmet with Face Mask
Softball Fielder's Mask
Bat
Glove

*Jersey, socks, and belt are team specific and must be purchased through SquadLocker.com in the team store.

Team Jersey’s will be sponsor related. Purchasing information will be provided as soon as possible after teams are rostered, and must be purchased by the deadline provided.

Catcher's Gear will be supplied by BGS as needed. Players that are pursuing the position of catcher are encouraged to purchase their own gear.

CHOOSING A BAT

Bats for our USA Softball League have to be USA/ASA Certified.

CHOOSING A GLOVE

Gloves do not have to have the USA Softball certification.
