BGS NEWS
The Branford Girls Softball, Coach Pitch division, played in the North Branford Halloween Tournament on Nov. 2, 2024.
The girls played four back-to-back games and ended up coming in second place in the tournament.
All teams were asked to dress up in costumes and after the final game all teams were able to take part in Trunk or Treat.
The kids had a great time and played so well together! Go BGS!
Little League Softball Divisions

Player eligibility will be determined by the players age on December 31, 2024.
Whatever age you are on December 31, 2024 that is your age for the entire upcoming playing year.
Players who are league age 5, 6, 7, 8 are eligible to be selected to a Coach Pitch division team (old 8U). Five year olds need to have one year of Tee ball in order to play Coach Pitch .
- Players who are league age 9, 10, 11, 12 are eligible to be selected to a Minor League division team (old 10U).
- Players who are league age 9, 10, 11, 12 are eligible to be selected to a Major League division team (old 12U).
- Players who are league age 11, 12, 13, 14 are eligible to be selected to a Junior League division team (old 14U).
- Players who are league age 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 are eligible to be selected to a Senior League division team (old 18U).
Players who are league age 4, 5, 6, 7 are eligible to be selected to a Tee Ball team. BGS is not currently offering Tee Ball. Please contact Branford Little League Baseball.
Player evaluations will be held on
March 1 & 2, 2025
All players must be evaluated in order to be assigned to a team.
An email will be sent to all registered players with more details.
